Drew Richardson

Born in Glasgow and initially brought up on a musical diet of listening to The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Kinks etc on the radio. Going to secondary school coincided with a record player arriving in the house and pocket money being spent on albums and singles. Then discovered Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and so many other great bands from the 70’s. Friday nights spent taping Tommy Vance’s Friday Rock Show followed by Tom Russell’s on Radio Clyde opened my eyes and ears to other amazing bands and music that I’ve come to love. I’m extremely grateful to be given the chance to play the music I love on Rock.Scot and hope listeners enjoy the show and maybe hear bands they’d forgotten about or never heard but may now want to check them out.
