Andy Muir

Co-founder of glasgowapollo.com alongside Scott McArthur, Andy Muir is the technical brain behind the Apollo archive. His Apollo highlight was Thin Lizzy's 1983 farewell tour — he still remembers Phil Lynott shouting "Are you out there Glasgow? We need your helping hands." A Glaswegian now based in Sydney, Australia, Andy built and maintains the archive that has logged over 72 million hits. He also features in the Access All Areas podcast with Tom Russell and Scott McArthur, discussing rare interviews with rock icons. He still keeps a flame burning for classic rock by singing in a Sydney covers band ILL PREPARED, and studying under the tutelage of Tom Russell at the Rock.Scot School of Radio.
